A surplus of talent on the OHL-leading London Knights is benefitting the Oshawa Generals today, who acquired former number one draft pick Stuart Rolofs from the Knights for a couple of draft picks.

Rolofs was London’s top pick, 20th overall, in the 2019 draft. In 46 career OHL games, the winger has three goals and six assists. Six of those points have come in the first 15 games this season.

The Generals gave up a 3rd round pick in 2024 they had acquired from Kitchener and a 10th round selection in 2025.

The big, strong forward, who attended Canada’s U17 camp in 2019, has excellent vision on the ice as his passing ability is considered a significant strength. He is eligible for the 2022 NHL draft.

This is the second trade between the two clubs in the past week. Oshawa sent Ty McSorely to London last week for a 10th round draft pick in 2023.

Rolofs will make his debut with the Generals Wednesday night in Hamilton against the Bulldogs.
