The Oshawa Generals dropped their fifth straight game Friday night after the league-leading Ottawa 67s doubled up the Gens on Remembrance Day in Ottawa 6-3.

Six different players scored for the 67s (14-1), the #1 club in the OHL and the fourth-ranked team in the nation, with Jack Matier pacing the home side with four points. With 40 minutes in penalties called it was a chippy affair and Ottawa took advantage with three power play goals.

Colin MacKenzie made 36 stops for the win while Carter Bickle got the nod in net for Oshawa, making 28 saves.

Brett Harrison, Stuart Rolofs and Blake Smith – with his first OHL goal – supplied the scoring for Oshawa.

The Generals (5-8-2) come home for a date with the Hamilton Bulldogs Sunday night at the Tribute Communities Centre. Oshawa’s last victory was October 28 against Hamilton.

Puck drop is 6:05 p.m.
