Oshawa Generals introducing $5 beer night for tonight’s game

Hockey and beer have always gone together perfectly, though beer at the rink watching a live game can get pretty expensive, especially for families on a budget.

The Oshawa Generals my have the perfect solution tonight at their much anticipated game against the unbeaten Ottawa 67s at the Tribute Communities Centre: $5 Beer Night.

The Generals have introduced promo nights before and will have several more this season, including one just like the Toronto Blue Jays wildly successful Loonie Dog Tuesdays, but with #GensNation flair.

The $5 Beer Night promotion, however, is one that could go sideways if not marketed properly and the club is encouraging patrons to drink responsibly. The promotion (small draft only) will be from gates open until the end of the first period.
