If you love junior hockey and want to share that passion with several thousand people every weekend, the Oshawa Generals might have a job for the you.

The Ontario Hockey League club is looking for an In-Arena Host for its home games this year to present in-game promotions and contests, conduct live in-camera interviews and hype up the crowd to add to the overall excitement of the fans’ experience.

To qualify, you must be able to attend all 34 home games and be available for shooting promotional material as needed. As a bonus, you get to shoot t-shirts into the crowd AND you get to go to the games for free.

Some experience as a host/emcee is required and a working knowledge of hockey would be very helpful for your chances of landing the job. Candidates will also be asked to read off a script during the interview process to showcase their abilities, with the club suggesting a demo reel would be preferred.

The successful applicant will also need to be fully vaccinated two weeks before their first day on the job.

Applications should be sent to Brandon Wright, Manager, Social Media, Media Relations & Game Day, at [email protected]
