The Oshawa Generals continued their winning ways on the weekend, capturing their fourth and fifth wins in a row with a road victory over the Ottawa 67s and a decisive home win vs the Peterborough Petes.

Oskar Olausson had a hot hand on the weekend, in the shootout victory Ottawa Friday and recording his first hat trick as a General against the rival Petes Sunday night.

Olausson, Ryan Gagnier and Stuart Rolofs scored in regulation Friday for the Gens and after the 67s spotted Oshawa a 1-0 lead in the shootout Patrick Leaver shut the door with three straight stops, setting the stage for Olausson and Brett Harrison to score to give Oshawa the 4-3 win.

Back home on Sunday it was all Oshawa with the Generals assembling a 3-1 lead before Olausson completed his hat trick in the third to help his club double up Peterborough, 6-3. Rolofs, Ty Tullio and Ryan Stepien also scored for Oshawa, with both Olausson and Tullio enjoying three-point nights.
