Oshawa high school locked down for student with knife

Durham Police were called to an Oshawa high school this morning after reports of a student wielding a knife.
G.L. Roberts Collegiate and Vocational Institute on Chaleur Avenue in Oshawa is locked down for the investigation.
Police have one person in custody who they describe as a “distraught student.”
There were no injuries and police say there is no threat to public safety.
