Know any accessibility champions?

The City of Oshawa and the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee are seeking nominations for businesses or individuals who have helped improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

Many individuals, businesses and organizations are making a difference so that people of all abilities can actively live, work, learn and play in Oshawa. Residents are encouraged to thank them by nominating them for an Accessibility Improvement Award. Honourees will be invited to receive their award at a Special Council meeting established to discuss accessibility and other inclusive issues on Monday May 30.

To submit a nomination, visit www.oshawa.ca/accessibilityawards. To request a hard copy paper form, contact Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 or by email to [email protected].

The deadline for nominations is Thursday April 14 at 4:30 p.m.
