An Oshawa man is facing accessory to murder charges after a traffic stop in Quinte West.
East Region OPP announced they had pulled over a driver going eastbound on the 401 for a Highway Traffic Act violation around 9:30 yesterday morning.
On further investigation the officers discovered the driver was wanted by Toronto Police Services as an accessory after the fact to a murder.
The man, 19 of Oshawa, resisted arrest but was subdued and handed off to Toronto Police, according to the OPP.
