Oshawa man charged with exposing himself to minors in Whitby, Ontario

A man from Oshawa has been arrested for reportedly exposing himself in front of minors in Whitby.
On Friday,(April 5) just before 5 p.m., Durham Regional Police responded to a call regarding a sexual offence in the area of Evergreen Drive and Canadian Oaks Drive.
Police say the suspect allegedly exposed himself to two girls in a public area and then began masturbating. However, he fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival.
Officials reported that the victims were unharmed and did not release further details about them, including their ages or places of residence.
One of the girls was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle to investigators.
On Friday (April 19), authorities were able to identify and locate the suspect, where he was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
Samad Abdul Ghaffar, 30, of Oshawa, is charged with an indecent act.
Ghaffar was later released on an undertaking.
Police have concerns that there may be other victims and are requesting that anyone with information to come forward to investigators.
