Oshawa man claims $100,000 lotto prize

An Oshawa man has claimed a $100,000 lotto prize on Encore.

Luciano Manserra picked up a lotto ticket for the July 1 draw from the Real Canadian Superstore on Taunton Road in Whitby. He said yes to the $1 encore add-on and later matched six of the seven numbers in perfect order. This won Manserra his $100,000.

The OLG says Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an encore draw every day.
