Oshawa men charged after break-in at Hydro One field

Two men are facing charges after breaking into a Hydro One field on the Oshawa-Clarington border in an apparent attempt to steal supplies.
Durham Police responded to a break-and-enter alarm at the Hydro One field on Townline Road near Highway 7 Monday morning and found numerous locks cut, with the two suspects entering numerous buildings on the site.
Both men were found on the property and taken into custody without incident.
David Martin, 28, and Stefan Miceli, 44 – both from Oshawa – were charged with break-and-enter, mischief (under $5,000), attempted theft (under $5,000) and possession of break-in instruments.
Both men were released on a promise to appear in court.
