Oshawa mom of four wins $100,000 on ENCORE

An Oshawa civil servant is $100,000 richer after saying ‘yes’ to ENCORE in the September 11 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Lisa Lalonde, who matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order, is a weekly lottery player. She makes sure to add ENCORE to all tickets purchased through her OLG.ca account and now the mother of four is celebrating her first big win.

“I got an email from OLG, and it looked different from those I had previously received. I was nervous to open the app, but once I did, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” Lisa recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I immediately called my husband, and he could barely understand what I was telling him.”

“I was so excited about my win! It’s an indescribable feeling.”

With her windfall, Lalond plans to pay some bills.

ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There are two draws every day.
