Oshawa woman wins $250,000 with Instant Golden Jackpot

Jennifer Spencer of Oshawa is a quarter-million dollars richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT GOLDEN JACKPOT

“I was scratching my ticket while having my coffee and when I uncovered the winning area, I thought, ‘no way!’” she said. “I was shaking and pacing. I texted my husband right away and he was in a meeting, so it took some time before I heard back from him. When he saw my text, he called me immediately and said, ‘no way!'”

Spencer says she plays the lottery regularly and INSTANT games are her favourite. “This is my first big win. I love to play new games, but this ticket was a familiar favourite,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

“With kids and bills we will put this win toward some sensible things. I’m still thinking about how to treat ourselves.”

“I’ve always dreamt of holding my own novelty cheque in my own winner photo,” she added. “It’s crazy to think this happened to me!”
