Visitors to Oshawa’s Canadian Automotive Museum will soon get an audio tour to guide them through the exhibits thanks to a $34,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Fund.

The not-for-profit museum, located on Simcoe Street South in downtown Oshawa, will be working with local radio station personnel, who will be assisting with recording and editing the audio content.

Gregory Johnston, a member of the museum’s Board of Directors, said the funds will help “enhance the customer experience” for all visitors, adding that he is expecting a 300 per cent increase in attendance as pandemic restrictions are lifted in the city.
