A week after fellow netminder Leif Hertz earned his first OUA shutout, Alaska native Michael Bullion did the same for the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks, stopping 20 pucks en route to a 4-0 road win over RMC Paladins.

Noah McMullin, Sean Ross, Matthew Barron and Tyson McConnell scored for the Oshawa school in their second-last game of the first half of the season.

Their last game of the first half didn’t end as well, with Queen’s winning Saturday night in Oshawa 5-1. McMullin scored the lone Ridgeback goal in the final two minutes of regulation with the game already out of reach. Hertz made 28 saves in the loss.

At the break, the Ontario Tech men’s team sits second in the east division, currently holding a playoff spot.

The Ridgebacks (7-8) have the remainder of December off, returning to OUA play on the road against the Nipissing Lakers on January 8.
