Oshawa’s Parkwood Estate hosting Fall Fest Vendor Market

The meticulously landscaped grounds of Parkwood Estate will be the site for the Fall Fest Vendor Market Saturday, with more than 40 vendors on hand for the annual event.
“Our goal is to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors and discover what Durham has to offer by focusing on showcasing unique, high-quality local vendors and artisans,” said Filomena Lowry, Parkwood National Historic Site’s Special Events Coordinator. “Supporting local has never been more important.”
Hand-made crafts, jewelry, artworks, cosmetics, baked goods, a mini-plant sale, $20 ‘mystery bags’ and even some Lebanese cuisine will be among the attractions at the market, which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fall Fest will also have a special area under the Arbour for half a dozen kid vendors.
