Pair arrested in Clarington drug raid

A man and a woman are in custody after a drug raid in Clarington.

Durham Regional Police raided a home near Liberty St. and Baseline Rd. in the south end of Bowmanville on Oct. 6. They claim to have found around $21,000 worth of drugs and paraphernalia. They arrested two people on several trafficking charges.

Stewart Strickland, 39, faces four drug trafficking charges for cocaine, fentanyl, meth and opioids. He’s also been charged with breaching probation. Likewise, Kayla Donnison, 36, has been charged with the same four trafficking offences. Both remain in custody until a bail hearing.
