If you have ever wanted to be the face of the Canadian nuclear industry the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) may have just the ticket for you.

OCNI, a group of more than 200 Canadian suppliers to the nuclear industry based in Pickering, is looking for a new CEO/President to replace Ron Oberth. As the voice of the Canadian nuclear supply chain and of nuclear energy as a central part of the country’s electricity portfolio, you would be responsible for all operations of OCNI as well as championing nuclear energy’s future in the hallowed halls of Parliament Hill.

If you are comfortable with establishing relations with both federal and provincial politicians and maintaining liaisons with stakeholders such as OPG, SNC Lavalin and others and if you have no problems representing the organization on public policy positions and executing social media strategies, then this is the job for you.

Extensive Canadian nuclear industry experience gained through work in a nuclear utility, supplier, National Lab, or regulator would look good on the resume too.

“You are always ready to push forward, inspire and motivate your team. Your previous experience showcases your leadership, your background has allowed you to build trust around the nuclear industry, political circles and public (and) you have the ability to elevate OCNI while staying true to its roots.”
