Pickering burglary prompts manhunt for two suspects

Two unidentified men remain at large after breaking into several cars and a home in Pickering.
The pair was seen attempting to open cars around White Pine Crescent and Valley Ridge Crescent between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Oct. 29. The neighbourhood is affluent and suburban, sitting on the far western side of the city near the Rouge National Urban Park.
The pair then slipped into a neighbourhood home through an unlocked sliding door, according to Durham Police. They stole numerous items from the house and took off, police continued.
Investigators describe the first suspect as a 20- to 25-year-old white man with a slim build and about five feet eight inches in height. He wore a bandana over his face, a white hooded sweatshirt, grey jogging pants, and running shoes.
They describe the second as 20- to 25-year-old white man around the same height as the first. He also wore a similar outfit including a face covering, a white hoodie, black jogging pants, and white running shoes.
