A Pickering man has lost his ride for two weeks after he was clocked going over twice the speed limit through the northern reaches on the municipality

The driver was recorded driving his Lexus 122 km/h in a 60 zone through the Hamlet of Green River on wet roads February 17.

The driver, 27, has been charged with stunt driving and speeding and his vehicle has been impounded for two weeks.

“Please slow down,” police stressed in their statement, “Being late for work is no excuse to be driving this!”
