Pickering Museum Village wins Ontario Choice Award

Pickering Museum Village is Attractions Ontario’s people’s choice for Top Small Museum/ Art Galleries/ Historic Sites in the sixth annual Ontario Choice Awards.
The largest living history site in Durham Region, the Pickering Museum Village is nestled on the banks of Duffins Creek in the hamlet of Greenwood in north Pickering and offers 19 historic building, stunning scenery, and more than 13 programs during the summer and fall.
The pioneer village tells the story of Pickering’s development from earliest European settlement to 1910. Explore the village on your own or with a costumed guide.
Tours of the village are only available from April to December. During the winter months the museum still offer birthday parties, facility rentals, and select programs.
