Police cycle team makes stop in Bowmanville on way to National Police Memorial in Ottawa

The Durham Police Cycling Team joined several other police services in the Canadian Ride and Run to Remember Thursday morning on a journey that will end in Ottawa for the National Police Memorial.

The cycling team, 150 riders strong, made a brief stop at DRPS East Division in Bowmanville to make a presentation with Camp F.A.C.E.S to Landon Love of Waverly Public School.

Camo F.A.C.E.S. donates bicycles to deserving youth all along the route to Ottawa.

The riders will pay tribute at the National Police Memorial to all fallen officers who lost their life in the line of duty with the message that the officers “will never be forgotten.”

Landon Love of Waverly Public School was presented with a bike from Camp F.A.C.E.S.
