Gas station robbery suspects

Police have released images of a man wanted in a knife-point robbery at a gas station just east of the Oshawa-Clarington border Sunday night in hopes the public can help identify the suspect.

Durham Police responded to the armed robbery call to an Esso station on Highway 2 in Courtice just after 10 p.m. Sunday, stating that a man had entered the business and demanded cash from an employee while making threats with a knife. The man, described as white, 20-25 years-old, 5’10” with blonde hair and an average build, fled when other patrons entered the gas station.

The employee did not sustain any physical injuries.

The suspect was wearing a dark coloured face mask, black shirt, red and black pants and black shoes.
