Police are on lookout for a man seen committing indecent acts in Whitby in front of teenage girls.
Two incidents investigators believe to be connected were reported to police on November 15.
The first instance took place October 21, but was not reported until last Monday. The suspect approached a teenage girl in Whitby’s Jack Wilson Park. He asked the girl directions while “committing an indecent act,” according to police.
Later, on November 15 a man approached a 15-year old girl while in his car at the Dryden Boulevard and Garden Street area of Whitby. Again he asked directions while, police allege, “committing an indecent act.”
Police say the same man was seen a few minutes later around Hemingford Place by the victim and her friend.
The man in both instances is described as male, with a tanned complexion, in his late teens, with shoulder-length brown hair. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt and driving an old blue four-door.
DRPS is asking anyone with security footage of the areas of information regarding the incidents to call D/Cst Bortoluss at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1877.
