Police investigating hit-and-run with stolen car in Oshawa

Police are looking for two suspects who fled from a stolen car involved in a collision in Oshawa Wednesday afternoon.

Durham Police responded to an accident involving a blue Nissan and a black Honda Civic near Grenfell Street and Elmgrove Avenue around 4”30 p.m. Two men in the Honda fled on foot. The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the Honda Civic was stolen.

Suspect #1 is described as having a tanned complexion, late teens, long black hair and wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a mask over his face.

Suspect #2  is Black, slim build, 5’5″ tall with short black hair and wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that would assist investigators or any video surveillance or dash-cam footage from drivers in the area around the time of the collision.
