Police investigating more victims following sexual assaults in Oshawa

Durham Regional Police Service are looking to identify further victims after receiving reports of a man kissing and touching women without their consent in different locations in Oshawa.
On Tuesday (July 4) police responded to a report of sexual assault where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly kissed and touched inappropriately by an unknown man at the bus loop near the Oshawa Centre.
Police say while investigating the incident they became aware of two more victims.
According to officers, the second victim was at the Oshawa Centre when she was approached by a man with a similar description who kissed her.
A third victim, was at a Tim Horton’s located at 1251 Simcoe St N. in Oshawa, when she was also approached by a man— who matched the same description as reported by the previous two victims, proceeded to kiss and inappropriately touch the woman.
Investigators have released a description of the man who they believe is involved with the sexual assaults.
The suspect could be between 20 and 30 years-old. He has a brown complexion with a height of five-foot-eleven and slim to medium build. He has short wavy black hair, a beard, and black framed glasses. The man may also have an accent.
At the time of the incident officers say he was wearing a blue plaid, collared button shirt and black pants.
Due to evidence collected during the investigations, police believe the assaults have been completed by the same individual, however they are continuing to work to determine if they are in fact connected.
