Durham Regional Police are investigating three pharmacy robberies in Ajax, Oshawa and Whitby, which all took place Wednesday night.

In the first incident, three men entered the Devon Pharmacy on Oshawa’s Wilson Street North at 6:50 p.m. February 17. The trio jumped the counter and stole narcotics before fleeing the scene in a getaway car. No one was harmed physically in this robbery.

Minutes later, the trio went to the IDA Guardian Pharmacy on Church Street North in Ajax. This time they assaulted an employee, before stealing more narcotics. The three suspects fled the scene in a dark SUV.

The employee was taken to hospital to treat injuries to their head and face.

The three suspects are all described as men wearing masks. Their getaway car is a dark SUV.
