Police looking for possible abduction victim in north Oshawa

Police are trying to locate a woman who may be in danger after they responded to an unknown trouble call in Oshawa Friday afternoon.

On Friday, December 16 Central West Division responded to two separate calls from members of the public who say they saw a woman attempting to get out of a moving vehicle near Bridle Road and Windfield Farms in north Oshawa.

The woman appeared to be in distress and was yelling for help.  The male driver was observed preventing the female from leaving the vehicle and sped off north on Bridle Road.

The driver is described as white, dark hair with a dark beard.  The woman is described as white, blonde hair, 20 years old wearing blue jeans and winter boots. The vehicle is believed to be a White Ford SUV.

The investigation is ongoing; however, police have not been able to locate the driver or the vehicle and are appealing to the public for any information, including home and dash cam video.
