Police looking for public’s help in Identifying brick-wielding Oshawa vandal

Police are hoping the public can help identify a man who used a brick to cause “significant damage” to the front entrance of a student residence in north Oshawa on May 30.

The man entered 1700 Simcoe St N in Oshawa and began smashing the front entrance and door with a brick. He then continued to other exterior doors of the property and caused damage to the exterior portion of the building as well, including smashing more windows and breaking doors.

The suspect is described as male, Black, approximately 20 years old with a slim build. He was wearing a face mask, full grey Puma track suit and black running shoes.

No time of day was released.
