Durham Police are looking for a man who is accused of committing sexual assaults and indecent acts at a Pickering pharmacy.

Police say the suspect entered the Rexall Pharmacy on Whites Road last Friday evening, just before 7 p.m. and approached an employee who was stocking shelves and made conversation.  When the employee’s back was turned, police say, the man exposed his genitals and masturbated.  The suspect then entered a different aisle and attempted to take a picture/video underneath a second victim’s dress using his cellphone.  The second victim confronted the suspect, who fled the store on foot.

Neither victim sustained any physical injuries.

Police believe there may be further victims and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, who is described as Black, 25-30, approximately 5’10” with a slim build and auburn-coloured dreadlocks.  He was wearing a black t-shirt with a red Air Jordan emblem on the front and ‘Jordan’ written on the back, black jogging pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with cellphone, dashcam, surveillance footage or information about this or similar incidents is asked to contact D/Cst. Soto of the Special Victims Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5676.
