Police on the hunt for Whitby sexual assault suspect
Police are on the lookout for a sexual assault suspect after an incident at a Whitby grocery store.

Durham Regional Police are trying to identify a suspect in their investigation into a sexual assault at a Whitby grocery store.

According to investigators, the man approached a woman at the Taunton Rd W Real Canadian Superstore around 10:30 p.m. on May 27.  He then touched her inappropriately and ran away.

Police describe the suspect as as and Indian man in his 20’s standing 6 foot tall with a slim build. He was wearing all black clothes and spoke with an accent.
