Police release sketch of unidentified woman found dead off Ajax lakeshore

Durham Police continue rying to identify the woman found dead in the water of Lake Ontario off the Ajax shoreline more than two weeks ago.

The woman was found in the lake near Audley Road in Ajax on February 12 around 9 a.m. An autopsy was performed after her body was recovered, finding no signs of trauma or foul play.

This is the second image released in an attempt to identify the woman. The first, a computer generated reconstruction, was released on February 24.

Now, police have released a sketched approximation of her by Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and the Ontario Provincial Police the hoping to identify her.

Police describe woman as Black, shoulder length black hair in braids. The victim has vitiligo skin pigmentation on her face. She was wearing a black sweater vest, red jacket, black socks with a green pattern and black gloves with snowflakes on them.
