Police search for Courtice cannabis burglar

Durham Region police need the public’s help to identify a man caught on camera breaking into a pot shop in Courtice.
Around 3 a.m. October 12 rolled up to Northern Helm Cannabis in the Fresh Co Plaza on a little red BMX bike. He threw a rock through the storefront window, shattering the glass before slipping into the store. Police say the burglar made off with “numerous items.”
Police described the burglar as a 20-something man with a thin build. He was wearing dark shoes, dark pants and two hoodies. The first, a grey sweater with the hood up. The second, a distinctive, dark Tommy Hilfiger branded hoodie with the logo down the arms.
