Police search for suspect after a stabbing in Oshawa

A 33 year-old man was stabbed Wednesday night near Colborne and Simcoe streets in the north end of Oshawa’s downtown.
The suspect, described by police as a man in his 20’s, Black, wearing a black jacket, black pants and black shoes, remains at large.
Durham Police found the victim around 10 p.m. suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
There has been a rash of stabbings in the city of late and police are asking for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information can call Detective Paolo Dellipizzi at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2766.
