Police search for suspect after armed robbery in Blackstock

Durham Police are on the hunt for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed at gunpoint in the tiny hamlet of Blackstock in Clarington.
On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at approximately 10:05 p.m., North Division officers were dispatched to Penny’s Mini Mart on Old Scugog Road on Wednesday night just after 10 p.m. for an armed robbery. The lone suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and made a demand for cash. The suspect fled from the store to a silver/grey sedan.
The victim didn’t sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as male, white, wearing a camouflaged jacket, blue jeans and a blue mask.
