Police trying to identify suspect from Oshawa convenience store robbery

Durham Police have released a security footage photo of a man who robbed an Oshawa convenience store on June 10 and are hoping the public can help identify him.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., police say the suspect went into a convenience store in the Wentworth St. West and Oxford St. area where he allegedly stole a number of items. Police added he tried to hit an employee before taking off on a bike, heading north on Glen Street.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The suspect, shown above and below, is a white male with a thin build between 30 and 40 years old. In the photo, he appears to be wearing sunglasses with gold reflective lenses and is holding a green bag.
