Provincial cash for fire services and water infrasructure to be announced in Bowmanville Tuesday

Clarington will be celebrating a couple of major provincial investments Tuesday morning when Ontario’s ‘s Labour and Training and Skills minister arrives in Bowmanville with a bag of swag for both local fire services and water infrastructure.

David Piccini, who also has the Immigration portfolio, will host a press conference at 9 a.m. at the Clarington Fire Station #1 on Highway 2 for the fire services investment news, followed by a jog across the street to the Garnett Rickard Complex (main foyer) at 9:30 a.m. for an announcement about funding for a local water infrastructure project.

Piccini will be joined by local MPP Todd McCarthy and Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster for both news conferences.

A media availability will follow each announcement.
