If you want a say in how much your electrical bill is going to be in Oshawa – and how that power gets to your home or business – now is your chance to get your two cents in.

“We understand that electricity is essential to the health and wellbeing of our local community,” said Oshawa Power CEO Daniel Arbour. “To continue supporting our community, we need to look to the future and meet our customer’s needs with innovative, customer-centric solutions that allow us to increase our efficiency and improve our service.”

Oshawa Power launched their 2026 – 2030 Cost-of-Service Rate Application survey earlier this month and is seeking customer feedback on topics such as non-traditional electricity solutions, customer service, and investments in automation and reliability.

The results will help shape the city-owned utility’s rate application and future planning.

Since the launch Oshawa Power has already received nearly 800 responses from customers across Oshawa and will remain open to customers until September 30.

Residents and businesses can learn more about the survey at www.oshawapower.ca/2026rateapp.
