Rifles, brass knuckles and knives found in Oshawa police raid

A police raid in Oshawa uncovered numerous weapons resulting in a battery of charges for a man from the city.
Durham Regional Police said they raided a home on Beatrice St. on July 4 as part of an ongoing investigation. They did not specify where along the road the house sits. Beatrice St. runs across the eastern half of the city from Somerville St. to Harmony St. in the north end.
The investigators seized seven rifles, three pellet guns, ammunition, brass knuckles (a prohibited weapon), and two knives.
The find resulted in 24 charges for Allan Chapman, 48, including multiple counts of weapons dangerous, possession of a gun without a licence, and unsafe storage. He remains in custody until a bail hearing.
