Road closed for a crash investigation in Whitby

A crash has closed a road in Whitby.
Emergency crews responded to the collision on Garrard Road, south of Highway 407 in Whitby, Durham Regional Police said in a post on X Thursday at 8:14 a.m.
Garrard Road is closed in both directions between Taunton Road West and Conlin Road, police said.
Police didn’t provide further information on the crash.
Drivers should find an alternate route, police said.
