Roadway partially shut down following crash in Whitby

Durham Regional Police officers are on scene for a collision investigation Wednesday evening in Whitby.

At 7:11 p.m., a crash was reported on Rossland Road at Orvis Street.

There’s no word on injuries at this time.

The righthand eastbound lane on Rossland has been shut down until further notice.

Police say traffic is delayed but still getting through.

Residents may want to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
