Rollover in rural Uxbridge results in life-threatening injuries

A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life after he was ejected after rolling his truck in rural Uxbridge Wednesday evening.

Durham Police say the man was westbound on Zephyr Road West near Concession Road 6 when he lost control of his GMC Sierra and rolled the vehicle just after 6 p.m.

A motorist came across the accident and called 911. The man was then transported to a Toronto trauma centre with what police are describing as life-threatening injuries.

The DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended to gather evidence and the roads in the area were closed for several hours.
