Santa Claus is back at the Pickering Town Centre

It must be almost Christmas because Santa has returned to Pickering Town Centre for the holiday season.

Parents and their children looking to have their pictures taken with jolly ol’ St. Nick are invited to make an appointment this year to minimize lines at the Ice Castle.

Santa arrived in Centre Court today and will be here until 6 p.m. The full schedule is:

November:

  • Monday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon – 6 p.m.

December:

  • Monday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Santa returns to the North Pole December 24 to make final preparations for the big day, though the elves and Mrs. Claus generally have it all under control.

Pickering Town Centre will also be hosting sensory-friendly Santa experiences on Sunday, December 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. for people within every spectrum of special needs and their families.

You can also get photos of your pet with Santa every Wednesday from November 16 to December 14, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. each evening.

Dogs or Cats only. Dogs must be on leashes or in carriers. Cats must be in carriers for travel to and from Santa’s Ice Castle. Pet entrance and exit access will be through Entrance 6.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pickering Animal Services.
