Scarborough woman charged with bank fraud in Uxbridge

A Scarborough woman has been charged by Durham Regional Police with attempting to defraud an Uxbridge bank.

On Monday, the suspect entered a bank on Douglas Road in Uxbridge and attempted to open an account using fraudulent identification. North Division members were called and she was arrested.

Huiam Abdelrahman, 26, has been charged with Fraud Under $5,000.00, Utter Forged Document, Possess Identity Document of Another x2, Possess Identity Information with Inference of Fraud and Unlawfully Deal with Device Used for Forgery.
