Police say a lockdown at an Oshawa high school has been lifted following an alleged assault.
A Durham police spokesperson told indurham.com in an email that shortly before 10:30 a.m. this morning, officers were called to the R. S. McLaughlin Collegiate and Vocational Institute to investigate an alleged assault on a staff member.
Police allege the assault was committed by a student.
Police say the staff member was not injured.
The student was taken into custody.
