Shots were fired at a house in Oshawa yesterday.

Durham Regional Police responded to Conlin Road East and Townline Road North around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunshots fired at a house.

Police say after arriving at the scene, numerous shell casings were located, but no victims were found.

Officers continue to canvass the area and are asking anyone in the community with information to come forward.

A similar shooting took place a few days earlier on Saturday (May 18) in Ajax, where police obtained a suspect description. However, the investigation remains ongoing.

Over the Victoria Day long weekend, Durham Region experienced a total of six shootings: Three in Ajax, two in Oshawa, and one in Whitby. Investigators are examining whether these incidents are connected.
