Shots fired at several homes in Bowmanville

Gunfire rang out in Bowmanville last night and several homes were struck.

The homes sit in a dense residential neighbourhood near Streathern Way and Markham Trail. Numerous callers reported the sounds of gunfire around 2 a.m, Durham Police said.

When officers responded, they found multiple bullet holes in the fronts of several homes. No one was injured in the shooting.

Investigators have requested anyone with information or security footage of the area to come forward.
