Shots fired in north Oshawa

Gunfire broke the late-night quiet in north Oshawa.
Shots were fired near Equestrian Crescent and Windfields Farm Dr. way up in the north end around 1 a.m. on July 27. Several witnesses who heard the gunfire called Durham Regional Police. They reported seeing a black sedan flee the scene shortly afterwards.
Officers arrived and found several shell casings on the ground, police say. They also found two cars had been struck. No one was injured.
