The Oshawa Centre is inviting families from across the region to spread holiday joy at their new, one-of-a-kind immersive planetarium experience, A Sky Full of Stars, in support of Lakeridge Health’s Cancer Care Centre and Hearth Place.

Visitors can enjoy the planetarium experience from November 29 until December 24 and help fill the sky with stars as each donation triggers the explosion of a brand-new personalized star. Guests are transported to a starlit world as they set off through the galaxy tunnel of lights to spot the moon, planets, rockets, and their newly added star, personalized with their name or the name of a loved one.

This immersive experience starts at $10 per person with 100 per cent of the proceeds donated to the Cancer Care Centre at Lakeridge Health.

“This holiday season we wanted to engage more deeply with our guests by providing events and activities that continue to bring our community together,” says Oshawa Centre’s marketing manager Kayla Perez. “We are excited to offer unique events, including the Sky Full of Stars planetarium experience, that are not only fun to enjoy but can also help raise well needed funds for our local healthcare organizations.”
