South Oshawa shooting sends one man to hospital in serious condition; one in custody

One man is in hospital in serious condition and another is in custody after a shooting in south Oshawa Saturday night.

Durham Region Police responded to Cedar and Wentworth streets after reports of an armed person. Police found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and were able to locate the alleged shooter.

The intersection was closed for much of the night for the investigation.

Police say more information will follow.
